Equipment Owner  

• Operate rollermills, sifters and related equipment according to standard operating procedures to process wheat into flour. Adjust settings and make necessary changes based on the type of grain being milled
• Regularly inspect and maintain rollermills, and other milling equipment. Ensuring they are in optimal working condition. Lubricate machinery, clean all equipment parts and replace worn or damaged components
• Identify any defects within milling machinery and perform repairs or escalate to maintenance personnel as need. Quickly address any issues that could impact the production process
• Monitor the milling process centerlines, including feed rate, roll pressure and other critical parameters. Adjust the process flow to maximize efficiency, optimize extraction yield and minimize waste
• Observe the DDS and other “daily plan” activities to identify strengths and identify opportunities for improvement
• Meet regularly with the coaches, share observations, and identify help needed.
• Actively engage / pull other coaches / leaders to identify and eliminate critical barriers to progress.
• Emphasize the implementation of preventative (root cause) countermeasures to address losses.
• Ensures the conformances of the quality parameters of the flour. Performs tests, report any discrepancies and make adjustments as needed to meet specifications
• Responsible for checking of the quality parameters of the flour in accordance to SPPS.
• Observe applicable safety and GMP Standards.
• Perform all procedures, guidelines and work instructions for operation and maintenance related processes accordingly
• Dispose all waste properly according to the guidelines.
• Responsible for proper turnover to the incoming equipment owner
• Start the line for the next shift operation
• Summarizes whole day operation and maintenance for consolidation of overall production output and machine activities
• Assist in training new operators and maintain knowledge of best practices for rollermill operation and milling techniques
• Perform other related function being assigned from time to time

• Graduate of any 2-4 year Technical or Vocational course (e.g., Electro Mechanical Technology, Mechanical Technology, Eletrical/Electronic Technology, Mechatronics, etc.)

• Experienced in Production Operations (Mechanical/Electrical) and capable of performing physically demanding roles

• Technically and analytically adept, with strong problem-solving skills across mechanical and electrical systems

• Proficient in computer operations and familiar with various production and operational systems

• Trained in Lean Management, Food Safety, and Workplace Safety practices (preferred qualifications)

• Excellent communication skills in both oral and written formats
