Design Lead

Trainers are expected to engage both new and current designers to plan time and activities to ensure the achievement of SG Interactive’s established goals and objectives within our design agency.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

	<li>Create, manage and deliver new hire design training to ensure success in our Creative division.</li>
	<li>Create, maintain and deliver training documents that continue to support new hire design training.</li>
	<li>Identify opportunities and develop and implement ‘Training Action Plans’.</li>
	<li>Develop monthly, weekly and daily execution plans.</li>
	<li>Discover any opportunities in our Creative department based on metrics, feedback and performance.</li>
	<li>Develop improved training collateral and methodologies to drive improved performance within the Creative team.</li>
	<li>Act as a point of contact for multiple departments to drive performance and support any training initiative.</li>
	<li>Serve as an information resource for, and liaison between, the field and the SG Interactive’s management by communicating issues, opportunities and market intelligence through effective written, electronic and verbal means.</li>

As a subject matter expert in visual storytelling, presentation design, and brand interpretation, the Graphic Design Trainer combines technical mastery with instructional capability to elevate team capabilities. The role requires a proactive and structured approach to coaching, curriculum development, and skills assessment to ensure all designers—regardless of experience level—are aligned with agency-wide expectations and evolving best practices.

Art Direction

	<li>Brainstorm, suggest, critique, and demonstrate design and layout concepts that exemplify SlideGenius design standards.</li>
	<li>Support Art Director and team operations, as needed, to translate written or recorded client communications into actionable design direction.</li>
</ul>

Client Communication (Written Only)

	<li>Draft professional, well-structured client communication to clarify design direction.</li>
	<li>Support discovery activities through written correspondence, reviewing recorded calls, and internal pre-design planning.</li>
</ul>

Design Facilitation

<ul>
	<li>Conducts thorough quality control reviews of designer outputs for delegated projects, before client delivery, ensuring art direction is followed, brand standards are upheld, and client expectations are met.</li>

Team Development
