The Culinary Assistant supports the daily operations of the Culinary Kitchen by assisting chefs in food preparation, sourcing, inventory management, and event execution.

<ul>
	<li>Perform day-to-day operations in the Culinary Kitchen.</li>
	<li>Assist chefs in ingredient sourcing and procurement, mise en place, cooking and clean-up during culinary events and any day-to-day activities in the Culinary Kitchen.</li>
	<li>Handles cash for raw materials procurement and summarizes the expense with all the necessary documents before turning it over to the assigned chef.</li>
	<li>Work with the assigned Chef in any culinary activity within the day.</li>
	<li>Do regular inventory of materials, equipment, tools and utensils.</li>
	<li>Ensure that appropriate Sanitation, Maintenance and Safety Standards are being followed.</li>
	<li>Implement and maintain Culinary Excellence Standards (ServSafe, HACCP).</li>
	<li>Assist Foodservice Business Development and Departments in ideation activities and other Foodservice related events.</li>
	<li>Assist in Media Food Shoots, TV/Video Shoots &amp; Company Promotional Shoots.</li>
	<li>Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Culinary Kitchen.</li>
	<li>Other duties as assigned from time-to-time by Culinary Operations Head or Chefs.</li>

Job Summary

 

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the transport, stacking, arrangement of goods inside the warehouse. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

Operational

 

Effectively extracts goods from inbound trucking services and stores in the warehouse using the company forklift.

Loads goods in outbound trucking services in a careful and organized manner.

Observes the First In First Out procedure when storing goods. 

Assist in the physical inspection of inbound and outbound goods prior to loading/ discharge. 

Properly segregates bad inventory and labels accordingly.

Signs off delivery documents after checking critical details such as the item, quantity, customer/ supplier, invoice/delivery notice. 

Ensures the safety of people and goods in the warehouse.

Conducts a weekly forklift maintenance according to the provided guidelines.

On a weekly basis, submits a Weekly Workplan and Activity Report to the President.

Perform additional tasks that contribute to the accomplishment of the organization’s objectives.

 

Warehouse Management

 

Ensures the upkeep and optimum condition of the forklifts, jack pallets, and weighing scales in the warehouse. 

Ensures that goods are clean and stored in an organized manner.

Ensures the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse at all times. 

Observes the proper procedure in the disposal of wastes or expired chemicals in the warehouse.

Perform additional tasks that contribute to the accomplishment of the organization’s objectives.
