Delivery Driver  

Job Summary

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient storage of goods to and from Goldmunzen, Inc.’s Warehouse.

Duties and Responsibilities

a. Operational

1. Ensures that goods are delivered to the right client at the right time and place.

2. Delivers and collects samples from clients.

3. Performs tasks that affect the delivery process such as but not limited to the following:

Preparation of necessary forms

Complete required forms for delivery

Safe and efficient loading and unloading of goods

Inventory audit of goods for delivery

Safety of goods, equipment and people within the delivery vehicle

Arrangement of goods in the delivery vehicle

4. Responsible for the integrity, confidentiality and safe handling of documents related to the delivery process.

5. Efficiently and immediately files the necessary reports and documents to the Warehouse Supervisor not later than one (1) week after delivery.

6. Reports to the Warehouse Supervisor on a weekly basis all the significant aspects of delivery including but not limited to: goods that have been received and delivered, accidents or product spillage, equipment status/breakdowns, maintenance concerns/records, product concerns, customer recommendations/complaints, etc.

7. Perform additional tasks that contribute to the accomplishment of the organization’s objectives.

b. Vehicle Management

1. Responsible for the maintenance of the Goldmunzen, Inc. delivery vehicle thru such activities as, but not limited to:

a. Weekly cleaning

b. Monitoring of schedule of vehicle maintenance check

c. On-time registration of the delivery vehicle

2. Ensures the efficient and effective use of Goldmunzen, Inc. resources during delivery thru and not limited to:

a. Managing fuel consumption

b. Effective scheduling of delivery

c. Efficient use of vehicle space during delivery

d. Compliance to the delivery procedures as stated in the manual

3. Develops and implements cost-efficient ways to conduct warehouse procedures, subject to the approval of management.

4. Coordinates with the Delivery Assistant and Warehouse Supervisor in the development, monitoring and evaluation of plans to promote the efficiency of delivery.

5. On a weekly basis, checks the overall condition of the delivery vehicle and the forklifts.

6. On a monthly basis, inspects all vehicles and makes the necessary recommendation to address findings.

Minimum educational attainment of a high school education

Can express himself clearly in English and Filipino language

Has an eye for details
