Reliever Procurement Associate  

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Procurement Associate (Reliever) to support day-to-day procurement activities. The role will involve reviewing purchase requisitions, evaluating supplier quotations, processing purchase orders, monitoring deliveries, and coordinating with vendors to ensure the smooth execution of procurement transactions. This will be a 4 months contract.

The selected candidate will undergo a knowledge transfer and work shadowing period to become familiar with active purchase orders, vendor lists, pending requisitions, and ongoing supplier negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review purchase requisitions to ensure completeness and compliance with procurement requirements.
• Tabulate and compare supplier offers and quotations to support procurement evaluation.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) in accordance with established procurement procedures.
• Monitor and coordinate the timely delivery of goods and services.
• Address day-to-day vendor inquiries and coordinate with suppliers to resolve procurement-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure timely follow-through on pending requisitions and purchase orders.
• Participate in knowledge transfer activities to gain familiarity with ongoing procurement transactions, supplier relationships, and negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related business course. An engineering background is an advantage.
• Prior experience in procurement, purchasing, or buyer-related roles.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, and Google Workspace, including Gmail, Google Sheets, and Google Docs.
• Ability to prepare tabulations, perform computations, and organize procurement data using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Confident verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders while managing multiple procurement-related tasks.
