Why Join the Mentor Pool?

We're building a community of industry practitioners who are passionate about helping others grow. As an Eskwelabs Mentor, you'll guide learners as they apply real-world concepts through hands-on projects, coaching, and feedback in our part-time learning programs.

Joining the Mentor Pool gives you access to recurring mentorship opportunities across Eskwelabs' learning programs. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to participate in projects based on their expertise, availability, and program needs.

About the Role

What we're looking for

We're looking for professionals who enjoy sharing their expertise and helping others learn.

You don't need to be a professional educator. Many of our mentors come directly from industry and bring valuable real-world experience into the classroom. If you're passionate about coaching others and continuously learning yourself, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do

Coach learners as they work through hands-on projects and practical activities.

Answer learner questions and help unblock technical or strategic challenges.

Provide constructive, actionable feedback that supports learner growth.

Encourage collaboration, confidence, and a positive learning experience.

Share industry insights and real-world best practices.

What you won't do

We recognize that our mentors are busy professionals, so we've designed the role to fit alongside your existing commitments.

You will not be expected to:

• Create learning materials from scratch.
• Deliver full lectures or develop curriculum.
• Complete work outside agreed mentorship commitments.
• Participate in on-site sessions unless you choose to join projects that require them.

Work Arrangement

Project assignments may be conducted remotely, onsite, or in a hybrid setup depending on the needs of each learning program.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Industry experience in workflow automation, business process improvement, or operations
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
• Passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing adult learners
• Experience in one or more of the following:
  • Business Process Mapping
  • Workflow Automation
  • Process Improvement
  • Microsoft Power Automate
  • Zapier
  • Make (Integromat)
  • API Integrations
  • Google Workspace Automation
  • Process Documentation
  • Operational Excellence
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable mentoring learners of varying experience levels
• Teaching or training experience is a plus but not required
