Supply Planning Specialist  

The Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring product availability by creating and maintaining accurate supply plans that balance customer demand, inventory levels, and production or procurement capacity. This role works closely with demand planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and sales teams to support efficient supply chain operations

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term supply plans based on demand forecasts
• Translate demand plans into production or purchase requirements
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory
• Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely supply
• Identify supply risks and constraints and propose mitigation plans
• Analyze capacity, lead times, and supplier performance
• Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes
• Track and report key supply chain KPIs (service level, inventory turns, plan adherence)
• Continuously improve planning processes and data accuracy

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Experience in supply planning, production planning, or inventory management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Excel and planning systems (ERP, MRP, or APS tools)
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar
• Knowledge of S&OP / IBP processes
• Experience in a fast-paced or complex supply chain environment
