Bookkeeper  

Key Responsibilities:

A. Transaction Recording and Journal Entries

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process in the accounting system.
• Prepare and process journal entries for accruals, adjustments, and corrections.
• Ensure proper documentation and classification of financial transactions in line with Company policies and accounting standards.

B. General Ledger and Reconciliation

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts and reconcile them regularly.
• Reconcile bank statements and investigate financial discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable transaction, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

C. Period-End Closing and Reporting

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports, summaries, and budgetary data as required.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of financial information to Management.

D. Audit Support and Compliance

• Organize and maintain accounting documents and records for audit and compliance purposes.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

E. Other Accounting-related Tasks

• Perform other bookkeeping-related tasks or responsibilities as directed by the Chairwoman.
• Support special projects, campaigns, or initiatives as required to achieve business objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Accounting Information Systems, Business Administration, or any related field.
• Experience handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Accounting, or similar systems.
