Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards and interactive reports using Power BI
- Perform complex data querying and manipulation using SQL (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server)
- Develop and maintain database programs and user interface/query software
- Conduct data modeling, validation, and transformation to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Implement ETL processes and work with data integration tools
- Apply predictive modeling, NLP, text analytics, and data mining techniques when required
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments
- Ensure adherence to Data Quality, Data Governance, and Data Stewardship standards
- Support data-driven decision-making through clear visualization and reporting
- Work with Hadoop and NoSQL databases where applicable
- Operate within UNIX, Linux, Solaris, and Windows environments as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Management, or any related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Data Analytics
- At least 3 years of hands-on Power BI development experience
- Strong expertise in SQL for data querying and data manipulation
- Proficient in Python for data analysis (e.g., pandas, numpy)
- Experience with database management systems such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data modeling tools (e.g., ERWin, Enterprise Architect, Visio)
- Knowledge of Data Quality, Data Governance, and Data Stewardship practices
- Experience with predictive modeling, data mining, NLP, and text analysis
- Exposure to Hadoop and NoSQL databases is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
