- Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation in various mediums, coordinating with product management and project planning sessions to determine appropriate content.
- Coordinates with product management and project planning sessions to determine appropriate documentation.
- Select the appropriate medium for conveying messages, such as manuals and templates. Organize and write supporting documents for products, utilizing photographs, drawings, diagrams, animations, and charts to enhance user understanding.
- Standardize technical content across platforms and media. Edit documentation and online help to ensure clarity, accuracy, organization, and adherence to style guides and standards.
- Create paper-based and digital operating instructions, how-to manuals, assembly instructions, and frequently asked questions (FAQs) pages to assist technical support staff, consumers, and other users.
- Utilize the content management system (CMS) to manage the lifecycle of technical documentation, including draft, review, and publishing phases.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education – At least graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication, IT, or any related course.
- Related Work Experience – At least 2 years of experience working in an IT environment or technical writer background.
- Experience in technical writing and product development or exposure in IT software products
- Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences
- Knowledge – Knowledgeable in the following:
- Knowledge of data profiling/governance, lineage, and catalog standards (cataloging)
- Ability to synthesize technical & business concepts
- Familiarity with ERDs/DFDs and data profiling outputs
