Appian Developer  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Software Engineering, or a related field (or
equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on
experience in Appian development and
architecture design of large-scale and
enterprise-wide implementations.
• Deep understanding of Appian
architecture, including process design,
rule engines, data modeling, integrations,
and user interface development.
• Solid understanding of enterprise-level
infrastructure, security, and performance
considerations for Appian deployments.
• Experience with advanced integration
patterns, including web services, REST
APIs, and Event-driven tools
• Strong leadership and communication
skills, with the ability to effectively convey
technical concepts to both technical and
non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and
DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with Java and Appian Plugin
development
• Appian Architect Certification or other
relevant certifications

• As a technical and company authority, design, develop,
  and implement complex business processes using the
  Bank’s automation platforms. Work with teams on
  multiple, highly complex engagements.
  • Define the overall architectural vision and
  strategy for Appian projects, and budget
  requirements, ensuring alignment with
  business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business
  analysts, and project managers to gather and
  understand business requirements, and
  translate them into technical designs and
  solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to
  development teams in the design and

  development of scalable, reliable, and high-
  performance Appian applications, adhering to

  best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with Cloud Partners and
  infrastructure teams to ensure the
  availability, scalability, and security of the
  Appian platform and associated components.
  • Create common applications, components,
  and plugins that streamline the development
  efforts of project teams
  • Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews,
  and performance assessments to identify
  areas for improvement and ensure
  compliance with architectural standards.
  • Define and enforce Appian development
  standards, guidelines, and methodologies to
  ensure consistency, code quality, and
  maintainability.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and
  advancements in Appian and BPM
  technologies, and provide thought leadership
  and guidance on emerging industry practices.
  • Identify and evaluate new Appian features,
  tools, and technologies, and make
  recommendations for their adoption to
  enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of
  Appian solutions.
  • Create architecture documentations and
  knowledge base documents that will help the
  team to better understand the current state
  of the platform and provide support when
  necessary.
