Collaborates with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
Executes all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
Conceptualizes original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.

Provides user experience and design guidance to 3rd-party design teams. Work with 3rd-party design teams and assesses 3rd-party designed interfaces
Executes all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
Conceptualizes original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
Creates wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Presents and defends designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
Plans and conducts user research, user testing, and evaluates user feedback.
Ensures that approved prototypes are followed by implementing fidelity checks during and/or after development.
Promotes design usability guidelines, best practices, and standards.
Mentors junior team members regarding UI/UX design.
Other job-related activities may be assigned from time to time.
Education – At least graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphics Design, IT, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or any related course. Training and/or certificates in User Experience-related programs are a huge plus
Related Work Experience – At least 3 years of experience in UI/UX design in software development.
Provides fluency and expertise in the UX process, practices and deliverables to the team and client using industry-recognized UI/UX standards (i.e.. CUA - Certified Usability Analyst )
Owns design for several features and mid-sized projects
Creates designs based on user research, user experience analysis and based on standard techniques and tools
Tests the usability and accessibility of components and alternative designs.
Conducts evaluations, records data and feedback. Analyses evaluation data, recommends and addresses actions.
Contributes to influencing user-oriented product KPIs (i.e. user adoption, user retention/churn rate, etc)
Works effectively with internal and external stakeholders - able to articulate design decisions and elicit feedback.
Knowledge – Knowledgeable in the following:
Demonstrable UI/UX design skills with a strong portfolio showcasing at least the ff: Web Application Designs (40%) Mobile App Designs (40%) Static Website Designs (20%)
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
Exceptional visual, interaction, production design skills to create wireframes that communicate user workflows.
Deep understanding of design deliverables such as information architecture maps, workflow documentation, wireframes, visual designs as well as a thorough knowledge of design tools.
Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies - Strong Prototyping and Wireframing skills using any of the design tools: Prototyping: Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, Marvel InVision, Balsamiq, Axure.
An eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.
Understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and the ability to create prototypes.

General Responsibilities
The Ui/Ux Designer guides the design and user experience of new product features and existing enhancements within the web and mobile applications. The Ui/Ux Designer designs interaction models, user task flows, screen designs, and UI details that promote ease of use for a highly customizable system. The main task is to conduct user research, interviews, and surveys, and then use the gathered information to create sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes. The role contributes to ideation and sketching sessions, storyboards, prototyping, and usability testing to create a comprehensive wireframe system.
