The Junior Web Developer will assist with the creation of websites and updating existing websites using scripting languages. He/she will work under the supervision of senior developers, assisting with coding, testing, and design adjustments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting the web development team with all aspects of website and application design
- Assisting with the testing and maintenance of backend and front-end websites
- Collaborating with developers to implement new web features
- Recreate mobile responsive pages and post using Wordpress
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- At least one or two years of experience developing web applications using React.js
- Working knowledge of other Javascript frameworks such as Next.js, and/or NestJS
- Solid fundamentals with Javascript and using ES6 concepts
- Experience with working on projects using version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, etc)
- Experience working with Agile-based projects and being able to deliver solutions consistently as scheduled
- Knowledgeable with AI-enabled development workflow and utilize best practices
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and other coding languages.
- Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development, website architecture, and aesthetics
