- Solicit clients to open equity trading accounts with USI; build on existing and develop new relationships with USI clients, providing advice on equity market developments and key issues that may affect their trading strategies.
- Coordinate the completion of Customer Account Information Forms and submit the required supporting documents.
- Execute buy and sell orders accurately and quickly for clients while managing market risks like slippage and price impact.
- Monitor market trends, economic news, and sector developments to advise clients effectively
- Adhere strictly to internal risk limits and external market regulations.
- Partner with equity research analysts, internal traders, and sales teams to pitch relevant investment strategies.
- Coordinate with settlements and accounting
- Attend stockholders’ meetings, company briefings, sales and marketing events and present to clients, if necessary, regarding the importance of investing in the stock market.
- Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time that will support organizational goals and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Has stock market trading experience of at least 2 years and knows how to execute orders. Direct experience in equity sales, trading, or a relevant capital markets role.
- Proficiency in trading platforms, electronic execution tools, and financial data systems (e.g., Bloomberg terminal).
- Exceptional verbal, written, and negotiation skills to convey urgent information under high pressure.
- Willingness to spend time travelling and socialising with clients
- Passed the SEC Salesman License
- Strong communication skills, ability to foster relationships
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
