Job Description

The Marketing Specialist provides active support to the Campaign Managers on executing projects such as developing sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and social media campaigns, and on collecting and interpreting marketing analytics directed at creating successful sales profits.

  • Developing and implementing marketing plans.
  • Undertaking competitor research and analyses
  • Conducting market research to establish customer trends and habits.
  • Establishing goals and objectives in order to reach our customers through appropriate marketing channels (digital and traditional).

Website Management

  • Improve website performance in terms of ranking and speed, including checking of dead links and minor fixes
  • Update website content, including images and copy, news, partner pages, new services, and others
  • Tracks and Monitors website performance through the use of SEO and Analytics.
  • Identify website users using Analytics and assist in improving user experience

Events

  • Research on events to join
  • Organize and coordinate logistics, including flights and accommodations, itineraries, and materials
  • Facilitate ingress and egress of events

Internal Marketing

  • Write, edit, and publish the employee newsletter

Campaign Execution

  • Set up landing page content and ensure top ranks in Google searches through SEO
  • Monitors trends and does market research to assist with planning and campaign creation
  • Assists campaign leads with planning and implementing marketing campaigns
  • Implements marketing campaigns as set forth by the marketing manager.
  • Monitors and reports the performance of marketing campaigns key metrics and KPIs
  • Evaluates data and create reports on key metrics in order to monitor campaign efficiency and analyze trends
  • Reports campaign performance

Content Creation

  • Social Media and website blog posting
  • Set Key Results Metrics for website and social media posts
  • Creative writing and copy creation, including keyword research and keyword ranking checks, as well as target profile setting
  • Creation and execution of content calendar
  • Leads with the production of marketing materials and collateral with the support of sales and campaign leads.
  • Writes and edits content for different platforms such as social media, website, and press releases.
  • Manages content through the use of Content Management Systems.
  • Monitors and improves content performance through SEO, keyword research, SEM, PPC and PPM
  • Reports content performance (clicks, views, Google ranking)
  • Setting of marketing and sales playbook for assigned campaigns - Value proposition/messaging, Competitor List and analysis, Calendar of activities

Administrative

  • Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing programs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Be confident presenting to all levels (door opening) including influencers, decision-makers, Users, C-level management.
  • Have a background in software solution sales for mid-sized/Enterprise businesses
  • Follow SBDM/ Assigned Lead in the approach to gain exposure and experience Custom Software Development, BFSI, Data Solutions, Retail, Healthcare verticals a Plus
  • Able to Learn and get an excellent grasp of offshore outsourcing, cloud technologies and managed service offerings
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Be able to show levels of Advanced oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Possess an entrepreneurial nature with the ability to think outside of the box to implement an effective business strategy
  • Have experience in proposal writing.
  • Team player with good interpersonal/communication skills and an ability to work across various teams
  • Enthusiastic, problem-solving approach with a strong competitive appetite to close customer contracts
  • Initiative to identify and promote innovative new ideas to drive the business forward
  • A self-starter who isn’t afraid to generate their own leads and who can hit the ground running
  • Someone who is Credible, goal-oriented and confident
  • Someone who can successfully identify the relevant key decision-makers and maintain this level of contact

Position Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills with above-average knowledge of grammar, proofreading, and editing
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Experience in inbound and outbound marketing
  • Past experience producing web content, as well as channel- specific knowledge (blog, social media, etc.)
  • Ability to brainstorm ideas and see them through to detailed execution
  • General knowledge of the digital ecosystem, advertising technology platforms, marketing automation systems, and ad formats
  • Decent organizational and analytical skills and detail orientation with the ability to prioritize projects; comfortable with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proficient in web applications such as google Suite, Google Analytics, basic HTML, word press equivalents; familiarity with a variety of document editing applications
  • Knowledge of Google Data Studio
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Facebook, and LinkedIn
