Job Description

The HR & Admin Specialist is responsible for managing employee records, administering benefits, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. This role also supports recruitment, onboarding, and HR documentation while collaborating with the Payroll & Benefits Officer to maintain accurate employee data.

1. Employee Records & 201 Files Management

  • Maintain and update 201 files (employment records, contracts, performance evaluations).
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper filing of employee documents (both physical and digital copies).
  • Monitor employee status updates (promotions, transfers, resignations).

2. Benefits Administration

  • Manage company-provided benefits (HMO enrollment, leave balances, wellness programs).
  • Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries.

3. HR Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting compliance reports (DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Track employee attendance, tardiness, and leave usage.


4. Payroll Support

  • Work with the Payroll & Benefits Officer to ensure accurate payroll processing and coordinate the government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Validate employee data (new hires, salary adjustments, leave deductions).

5. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assist in job postings, screening, and scheduling interviews.
  • Prepare employment contracts and job offer letters.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions for new hires, ensuring proper documentation and orientation.

6. Employee Engagement & General Admin Support

  • Support company events, employee engagement programs, and training sessions.
  • Help coordinate office activities and manage employee communications.
  • Other assigned tasks by Manager and team as necessary

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of HR/administration experience (experience in compliance/benefits is a plus).
  • Familiarity with Philippine labor laws, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG processes.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, payroll software, and MS Office tools.
