Job Overview

The Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and expanding strategic partnerships with Sprout’s enterprise customers. This role focuses on identifying growth opportunities, maximizing customer value through upselling and cross-selling solutions, and ensuring long-term customer success.

The ideal candidate will have strong enterprise sales experience, a proven track record in SaaS solution selling, and the ability to build trusted relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level stakeholders. This individual will own the end-to-end sales process, from opportunity identification and pipeline management to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets through strategic upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer adoption of Sprout’s solutions by understanding business needs and recommending relevant products and services.
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies focused on customer retention, expansion, and long-term revenue generation.
  • Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and enterprise-level decision-makers.

Strategic Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic business partner.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, to understand business objectives and align Sprout solutions with their goals.
  • Drive customer value realization by ensuring clients maximize the benefits of their Sprout investment.
  • Develop customer engagement plans that support renewals, retention, and expansion opportunities.

Pipeline Management & Sales Execution

  • Own and manage the enterprise sales pipeline using Sprout’s CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and opportunity tracking.
  • Conduct consultative sales conversations, discovery sessions, and business reviews with customers.
  • Prepare customized proposals and presentations designed to address customer challenges and demonstrate business value.
  • Lead negotiations and drive opportunities through successful closure.

Business Partnership & Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams, including Customer Success, Product, and Sales Leadership, to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Support the implementation of enterprise sales best practices and contribute to continuous sales process improvement.
  • Provide insights on customer needs, market trends, and opportunities for business growth.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company.
  • Travel as needed to meet with enterprise clients and support business development activities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in enterprise sales, account management, or business development within a SaaS/software technology company.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas in enterprise software or technology solutions.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and selling to large organizations.
  • Strong background in consultative selling, solution selling, and account expansion strategies.
  • Experience engaging with C-level executives and senior business stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop strong client relationships and generate long-term partnerships.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technology solutions to business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with HR technology, payroll, workforce management, or SaaS solutions.
  • Background in HR technology or enterprise HR solutions is a plus.
  • Experience managing strategic enterprise accounts and driving customer expansion initiatives.
