As a WordPress Intern, you will support the development, maintenance, and optimization of WordPress websites while collaborating with developers, designers, and project managers. You’ll gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting, API integration, website performance, and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites
- Incorporate third-party APIs within WordPress
- Ensure compatibility across devices, browsers, and platforms
- Partner with our design and project management teams for product delivery
- Optimize websites for speed and reliability.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry developments, specifically in the realm of AI.
- Provide occasional client support.
- Documenting and testing new software applications
- Researching, investigating and fixing a wide range of technical issues
- Collaborating with senior developers
- Approaching problems and creating solutions
- Proactively learning about new technologies
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled with an internship requirement
- Interest and proficiency in WordPress Development
- Knowledge with CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery
- Familiarity with WordPress Elementor
- Knowledge in custom WordPress theme development
- Interest in website performance optimization
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Ability to interact with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- PHP and MySQL skills
- Highly developed analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
