Accountant I  

1. Performs pre- audit functions on the following:

a. All disbusement vouchers covering deliveries and service rendered, remittances, vouchers and payrolls of salaries and wages as to the corectness of computations and charges.

b. Conducts periodic audit of the status of the cash advances of bounded officials of the hospital.

c. Examines and analyze the flow of internal control system of some sections of the hospital and make necessary suggestions, recommendations related to said rules and regulations.

2. Inspects, checks and examines all deliveries to the hospital such as medicines, medical supplies, supplies, materials, office supplies, equipment, groceries and food stuffs as to specifications and quantity.

3. Checks and examines the collecting officers accountability on accountable forms and checks official receipts issue againts report of collections; counts and lists unused official receipts and other accoutable forms and inspect packs of official receipts corresponding to each number.

4. Counducts inspection of equipment before repair and inspection after repair.

5. Participates in the semi-annual inventory of the assets of the hospital, which includes equipment and supplies.

6. As authorized, performs the duties of the Accountant II whenever he/she is absent or out of the office. Perform other related duties that may be assigned by superiors from time to time.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Business Administration major in Accounting;
• Eligibility: R.A. 1080 (Certified Public Accountant);
