Job Description

Website Administrator (QC Tourism Website)
The Website Administrator shall be responsible for the technical administration, maintenance, and day-to-day operation of the official QC Tourism website. The position ensures that approved tourism-related information provided by the designated content team is properly uploaded, organized, and maintained, and that the website remains functional, secure, and accessible to the public.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Administer and manage the technical operations of the QC Tourism website
• Upload and update approved content, listings, and announcements submitted by the content team
• Organize tourism sites, events, and related materials within the existing system
• Monitor website performance and promptly troubleshoot technical or system-related issues
• Conduct regular system maintenance, backups, and basic security checks
• Coordinate with content, communications, and relevant offices for proper implementation of approved materials
• Assist in system updates, enhancements, and minor improvements as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least one (1) year of experience in website administration or similar work
• Proficiency in content management systems and basic web technologies
• Knowledge of web hosting, data management, and website security
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
