Accounting and Finance Officer  

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting & Finance Officer to manage the company's financial records, accounting operations, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have solid accounting experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to ensure accurate financial reporting while supporting the company's financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and update accurate financial records and accounting reports.
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor company cash flow, bank transactions, and perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and file tax returns while ensuring compliance with BIR and other government regulations.
• Process payroll or assist in payroll preparation with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Monitor company expenses and ensure all transactions are properly documented and approved.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Coordinate with external auditors during financial and tax audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal control procedures.
• Prepare financial analyses and management reports to support business decisions.
• Maintain organized accounting files and supporting documents.
• Collaborate with various departments regarding financial transactions and reporting requirements.
• Recommend improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field.

• CPA license is an advantage but not required.

• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, trading, or the food industry.

• Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), BIR regulations, and other government compliance requirements.

• Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or other ERP systems.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
