Company Nurse  

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid treatment and emergency care to injured or ill employees during work hours.
• Conduct initial assessment and assist in coordinating referrals to hospitals or clinics as needed.
• Maintain and update accurate employee medical records, incident reports, and daily consultations.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor treatment plans in coordination with the company physician (if applicable).
• Lead the implementation of health and wellness programs, including health seminars, vaccination drives, and mental health initiatives.
• Conduct regular inventory and monitoring of clinic supplies, medicines, and equipment.
• Assist the Safety Officer in conducting workplace health and safety inspections.
• Support compliance with occupational safety and health standards, including the preparation of reports required by DOLE, DOH, and OSHC.
• Participate in emergency response planning and drills (e.g., fire drills, earthquake drills).
• Promote proper hygiene, sanitation, and disease prevention within the plant.
• Collaborate with HR in managing health-related absences, return-to-work assessments, and medical clearances.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Nursing
• Registered Nurse (RN) with an active PRC license.
• Must have completed the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Training for Nurses as required by DOLE.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of DOLE/DOH/OSHC occupational health policies and reporting requirements.
• Good communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Willing to work on-site and render overtime or shifting schedules if required.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting preferred.
