Sales Designer Interior Designer Furniture  

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Visiting job sites to analyze space availability, design needs and the purpose of the space
• Attending client meetings to understand the design needs and client preferences regarding interior styles and colors
• Creating initial design sketches, color themes and ideas based on client requirements and space availability
• Present design concepts and proposals to clients for approval.
• Collaborate with technical teams to customize furniture, selecting materials, finishes, and fabrics based on client preferences.
• Deliver compelling presentations of design proposals, including detailed price quotes and accurate cost estimations.
• Overseeing the buying process of all raw materials and items required to complete the project
• Arranging client visits and keeping everyone involved in the project appraised of its progress
• Ensuring project completion within the allocated budget and timeline
• Coordinate with fabrication teams to monitor production, ensuring accurate manufacturing and on-time delivery/installation.
• Design showroom layouts, storefronts, and displays to effectively showcase the manufacturing company’s furniture products.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, material innovations, and company products to provide expert recommendations.
• Ensuring project completion within the allocated budget and timeline

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Software Proficiency: Strong skills in CAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, or other 3D rendering software.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have competent knowledge of the following technologies:

• AutoCAD,

• 20/20 CAP

• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);

• CAP Designer – able to apply software to complete drawings, renderings and specifications for small-medium projects.

• CET Designer – able to apply software to complete drawings and specifications for all sized projects.
