IT Support Specialist Technician Inhouse  

• The main responsibility of the printer technician is to ensure the proper functioning of the printer equipment by proper testing and troubleshooting.
• Respond to help desk tickets (email, chat, phone, in-person) for technical issues.
• Conduct and schedule checks or preventive maintenance for companies and clients hardware’s.
• Monitor printer supplies (toner,ink, paper, parts) and manage inventory to prevent shortages.
• Maintain service logs and records for all printer-related activities.
• Assist employees with printer usage issues, including driver installation and print queue management.
• Visited clients on-site, assisted them to get the very best from their printers, scanners, and imaging products by resolving technical issues.
• Able to detect and malfunctions and any failures in the hardware and be able to refurnish the defects.
• Install, configure, and update hardware, software, drivers, and operating systems.
• Check the ink levels in the printer cartridge and refill if it necessary. It is the responsibility of the printer technician to repair the defects in the printer and must replace the parts if needed.
• Ensure that the maintenance and service work is not disturbing the daily work of the organization.
• Provided excellent customer service by resolving printer issues on time and building a friendly rapport with the customer.
• Assist in sales collections by coordinating to head office clients advise for payments and ensuring proper documentation of collected payments.
• Provide on-site support and assistance to all clients within Metro Manila as required, ensuring prompt and professional service.
• The Company reserves the right to assign me to any Metro Manila or provincial branch as it may deem necessary
• Performs related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications Required

• Technical diploma or certificate in Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in printer installation, maintenance, and repair (laser, inkjet, and multifunction devices).
• Familiarity with networking concepts and printer connectivity (wired and wireless).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose both hardware and software issues.
• Basic knowledge of computer operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and printer drivers.
• Customer service skills and professionalism in dealing with clients.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work according to client schedules.
• Willingness to travel within the Metro Manila area to service multiple client locations.
• Organizational skills for maintaining records and managing inventory.
• Experience in sales collections or willingness to learn related administrative tasks is an advantage.
• Physical ability to lift and move printers or related equipment as needed.
• Valid driver’s license (if required for travel between client sites).
