Retail Business Development & Sales Planner  

About the Company & Role
We are a fast-growing modern farming and agri-tech company transforming how fresh produce is grown, moved, and sold in the Philippines.

As our Business Development & Retail Sales Planner, you will serve as the control tower for our retail inventory. By analyzing real-time data from over 60 merchandisers, you will ensure the right products reach the right stores at the exact right time. Working cross-functionally with our Sales, Logistics, and Agronomy teams, you will drive sell-through, minimize waste, and propel our store expansion nationwide.

Inventory & Allocation: Translate store-level data into precise product allocations by SKU and store.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate seamlessly with merchandisers, buyers, and logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory flow and on-shelf availability.

Field Operations: Conduct regular store visits to validate data, audit store operations, and improve visual merchandising displays.

Data & Reporting: Build, maintain, and optimize sales tools, trackers, and performance dashboards.

Demand Planning: Analyze retail sales trends to forecast demand accurately and support the agronomy team's harvesting schedules.

Business Development: Support new retail channel development, drive continuous store expansion efforts, and represent the company in client meetings, trade events, and retail negotiations.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: Php 28,000 – Php 50,000 (commensurate with skills and experience)

Setup: Hybrid (Office + Field Visits)

Allowances: Gas/Transportation Allowance provided for fieldwork and site visits

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Professional Background: Proven experience or strong background in Business Development, FMCG, Retail Management, Demand Planning, or Merchandise/Sales Operations.
• Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (must be comfortable with pivot tables, lookups, and basic data modeling).
• Systems Familiarity: Knowledgeable in using sales and BI tools (e.g., Power BI), promotional planning, and category/planogram management.
• Analytical & Process-Driven: Highly analytical and detail-oriented with a strong capability to interpret retail data and translate it into actionable business strategies.
• Communication Skills: Effective communicator and negotiator with a strong bias for action and the ability to collaborate across different departments.
• Location & Mobility: Must be based in Metro Manila, highly comfortable with fieldwork, and open to regular retail store visits.
• Transportation: Preferably possesses a personal vehicle or a highly reliable mode of transportation dedicated to traveling between supermarkets and sites.
