Manager, IT Asset Management  

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manager, Asset Provisioning to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the management, coordination, and execution of software provisioning processes, ensuring that software licenses and resources are allocated efficiently and in compliance with licensing agreements. You will collaborate with various departments, including IT, procurement, and vendor management, to ensure timely delivery and deployment of software assets.

Key responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Asset Provisioning and Data Analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of asset provisioning and data management activities.
• Compliance Oversight: Ensure all asset provisioning activities comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the generation and analysis of regular reports on asset usage, license compliance, and provisioning activities, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Budget Management: Manage the budget for asset provisioning and data analysis activities, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, procurement, and vendor management, to ensure seamless asset provisioning and deployment.
• Vendor Coordination: Work closely with software vendors to manage license renewals, negotiate contracts, and resolve any issues related to software provisioning or licensing.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of software assets, licenses, and provisioning activities in asset management systems or databases.

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in software asset management, software provisioning, asset data analysis, or a related role
• 2+ years of management experience in a software asset management, software provisioning, asset data analysis, or a related role
• Experience with software license management tools and asset management systems

Skills

• Strong understanding of software licensing models and compliance requirements
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
• Proficient in using IT service management (ITSM) tools and software provisioning platforms(e.g., ServiceNow, Zylo, Flexera, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in software asset management (e.g., CSAM, ITIL) are a plus
