Software Engineer for Cloud Infrastructure {ASAP}  

General Responsibilities:

The Software Engineer for Cloud Infrastructure will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of cloud-based systems. Their responsibilities will include the management of infrastructure provisioning, troubleshooting issues, conducting end-to-end testing, and collaborating closely with various teams, including Data Science and Platform Support. Proficiency in Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes is essential for success in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management
-Use Terraform to automate the provisioning of cloud infrastructure and ensure that all deployments are reliable and repeatable
-Leverage Docker to containerize applications and manage their lifecycle within the cloud
-Utilize Kubernetes to orchestrate container deployments, ensuring high availability and scalability of applications.

Troubleshooting and Support:
-Work closely with the data science team to troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide detailed Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) for incidents
-Conduct thorough end-to-end testing of cloud deployments to ensure performance consistency across all environments

Collaboration and Communication:
-Maintain transparent and routine communication with the Marketing team and other relevant stakeholders throughout the implementation of infrastructure updates and fixes
-Regularly document encountered issues and processes in comprehensive.

RCA documents Optimization and Monitoring:
-Continuously monitor all cloud platforms under the assigned project, proactively identifying areas for improvement to enhance overall platform reliability, availability, and performance
-Assists the Data Science team in maintaining and enhancing egress pipelines from the project towards different delivery platforms

Bachelors Degree Holder
At least 1-3 years in Cloud AWS, Python and Kubernetes
Experience in Python, Kubernetes, and AWS is required.
Experience with SQL, Terraform, and Docker is preferred
