As a Channel Development Specialist, you are the primary link between Monde Nissin and the distributor. You are a business consultant, providing key directions & business solutions to optimize the operations and help the distributor reach the joint goals set. You are also expected to examine and provide advice not just in terms of the sales aspect but also with regard to financial, marketing, merchandising, distribution & all areas that result in improving and optimizing the operations efficiently.
People Management
- Set job expectation, qualifications, organizational structure, compensation, span of control, hiring and selection policy
- Recommend recognition, incentive program as mutually agreed by the company and the distributor for its sales force
Distribution Channel Management
- Create and determine COD Structure based on the peculiarity of the area to be achieved
Cost Management
- Evaluate financial statements (profit/balance sheets)
- Recommend revenue-generating activities
Business Development
- Develop workable objectives, strategies and action steps for long-term corporate strategies
- Conduct Business Reviews with distributors
- Conduct regular meetings with distributor on the market situation, variance review and other pertinent information
- Develop contingency plans
- Develop marketing program customize to his specific area of responsibilities and aligned to corporate brand/marketing direction.
Information Management
- Ensure that all valid MIS supports the operational requirements of the distributor and the information needs of the company
- Submit accurate, complete and timely reports that may be required by Monde Nissin
- Interpret relevant information for dynamic market conditions of the area
- Provide info and analysis of market and competitive activities in writing
- Check required reports for deviation of itinerary and accounts
Merchandising and Display
- Ensure proper BO Management by the distributor and its sales force
- Provide forecast of p.o.p.’s and merchandising requirements with check and control monitoring system
- Enforce Monde Nissin’s regulations and standards on warehousing and product handling in different store type level and distribution’s warehouse
- Ensure proper implementation of pricing across all distribution channels
- Ensure people implementation of merchandising guidelines
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of any Business course
- Strong analytical and entrepreneurial skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
