Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Strategy, Planning, and Program Development
- Develop and implement the overall live selling strategy aligned with revenue targets.
- Create and manage a structured livestream calendar (daily, weekly, campaign-based, and brand-led shows).
- Design scalable and repeatable livestream formats (e.g., flash deals, bundles, themed campaigns, educational selling).
- Align livestream activities with marketplace campaigns, brand priorities, and promotional initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Category, Marketing, and Operations teams to finalize product line-ups and offers.
- Prepare and ensure completeness of all pre-live requirements (product lists, pricing, bundles, vouchers, scripts, and assets).

Show Execution and Monitoring
- Oversee and ensure smooth execution of all livestream sessions.
- Manage coordination between hosts, co-hosts, and technical staff during live sessions.
- Monitor real-time performance (viewers, engagement, stock levels, and order flow).
- Provide live guidance, cues, and updates to hosts to maximize selling effectiveness.
- Escalate and resolve issues promptly (technical disruptions, stock shortages, pricing errors).
- Ensure adherence to livestream standards, quality benchmarks, and SOPs.

Revenue Ownership and Performance Management
- Own and deliver GMV, NMV, and margin targets for livestream activities.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics:

Viewership and engagement
Add-to-cart and conversion rates
Units sold and revenue per session
Promotion efficiency (voucher usage, cancellations, returns)
Conduct daily/weekly performance reviews and implement corrective actions.
Optimize product mix, timing, host performance, and promotional mechanics.
Collaborate with Finance and Category teams to ensure profitability and cost efficiency.

Scripts, Content, and Selling Support
- Oversee development of scripts, talking points, and product spiels.
- Ensure accuracy of product information, pricing, and promotional mechanics.
- Guide hosts in delivering compelling, structured, and engaging presentations.
- Maintain organized documentation of scripts, show flows, and content assets.
- Continuously test and improve content hooks, storytelling, and engagement strategies.

Product and Merchandising Management
- Collaborate with Category and Inventory teams to ensure product readiness.
- Validate stock availability and pricing accuracy prior to livestream.
- Ensure optimal product assortment (traffic drivers, high-margin items, bundles, and add-ons).
- Approve product sequencing and prioritization during shows.
- Ensure all merchandising elements support conversion and upselling.

Team Leadership and Development

- Lead and manage the livestream team, including hosts, co-hosts, coordinators, and support staff.
- Define clear KPIs, roles, and performance expectations.
- Provide coaching and training on selling techniques, product knowledge, and on-camera presence.
- Ensure discipline in preparation, execution, and post-live evaluation.
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and accountable team culture.

Process Compliance, Documentation, and Reporting
- Develop, implement, and enforce SOPs for pre-live, live, and post-live activities.
- Ensure proper documentation of livestream schedules, scripts, and performance data.
- Prepare post-live reports with key insights, issues, and recommendations.
- Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement in processes and execution.
- Maintain organized records for performance tracking and audit readiness.

Minimum Qualifications

The Livestream Supervisor is responsible for driving revenue growth and ensuring operational excellence across all live commerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, and other emerging channels). This role oversees end-to-end livestream operations—from planning and execution to performance optimization—while directly managing the livestream team and ensuring each session is commercially effective and aligned with business goals.

The position combines strategic leadership and hands-on execution, ensuring that livestreams are properly prepared, smoothly executed, and continuously improved using data-driven insights. The Livestream Supervisor ensures the delivery of the right product mix, compelling promotions, structured scripts, and high-quality show execution to maximize engagement, conversion, and profitability.

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or any related field.
- At least 2–4 years of experience in e-commerce, live selling, digital marketing, or related roles, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Proven experience managing livestreams on platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, or similar.
- Strong understanding of live commerce metrics (GMV, conversion rates, engagement, etc.).
- Experience in team management, coaching, and performance evaluation.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills; able to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with shifting priorities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actions.
- Familiarity with livestream tools, OBS, or similar streaming software is an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including holidays evenings, weekends, and campaign periods.
