Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure services such as App Services, Storage Accounts, Virtual Machines, and networking components (VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers).
- Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines, including setup, monitoring, and maintenance for CI/CD processes.
- Manage repositories in Azure DevOps for version control and collaboration.
- Participate in root-cause analysis and resolution of operational issues in cloud environments, ensuring timely escalation when required.
- Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform, including writing, reviewing, and maintaining code.
- Monitor system health, costs, performance metrics, and security compliance across the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Create and maintain clear, concise documentation for configurations, processes, troubleshooting steps, and standards to ensure operational consistency.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar cloud engineering, system administration, or DevOps role, ideally with hands-on Azure work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Fundamental knowledge of Azure core services, including subscriptions, IAM, Entra ID, App Services, Storage Accounts, Virtual Machines, and basic networking (VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers).
- Understanding of Azure DevOps, specifically Pipelines (basic CI/CD knowledge) and Repositories for version control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn cloud operations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong technical documentation skills for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Additional knowledge in the broader Microsoft ecosystem, such as Microsoft 365, Power Platform, or other Azure services.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation tasks.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or higher.
