Accounting Supervisor  

The Accounting Supervisor oversees general accounting operations and ensures the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records and reports. This role supervises accounting staff, manages month-end closing, supports audits, and ensures compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Review, analyze, and validate transactions recorded in the General Ledger.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing, including closing of Oracle modules and posting of journal entries.
• Prepare monthly accounting schedules to support financial reporting.
• Supervise accruals, asset management, and preparation of accounting reports for the company and its affiliates.
• Assist in gathering and analyzing data for budget preparation and monitoring.
• Ensure books of accounts are properly maintained and updated.
• Prepare and submit required documents for internal and external audits.
• Delegate tasks, guide team members, and evaluate subordinate performance.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
• Extensive experience in General Accounting.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people-management abilities.
• High attention to detail with strong integrity in handling confidential information.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
