- Source and purchase fabrics, trims, accessories, and other garment materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers for pricing, lead times, and material availability.
- Ensure all purchased materials meet required quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate purchase records, inventory levels, and supplier databases.
- Track deliveries and follow up to ensurematerials arrive on time
- Negotiate cost-efficient deals and maintain good supplier relationships.
- Support production by ensuring timely procurement of all needed materials.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in purchasing or equivalent.
- Must have strong negotiation skills.
- Meticulous attention to details and can work in a fast-paced demanding environment.
- Excellent skills in purchasing and sourcing.
- Must be computer literate.
- 4-year college degree is preferred or a 2-year college undergraduate with equivalent work experience.
