The Head of Sales – B2B & B2C Localization is responsible for driving revenue growth across enterprise, SME, and consumer segments within the localization industry. This role leads sales strategy, business development, and team performance while expanding the company’s footprint in translation, localization, interpretation, and language services across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute scalable sales strategies for both B2B (enterprise, agencies, platforms) and B2C (individuals, SMBs, students, immigration, legal, medical) localization services.
- Own revenue forecasting, pipeline management, pricing strategy, and sales targets.
- Identify new verticals such as tech, gaming, e-learning, legal, healthcare, media, and e-commerce.
- B2B Sales Leadership
- Drive enterprise and mid-market sales for localization, multilingual content, and language solutions.
- Build long-term partnerships with global clients and strategic resellers.
- Lead RFPs, RFQs, contract negotiations, SLAs, and multi-year agreements.
- B2C Sales & Channel Growth
- Scale B2C sales through digital channels, inbound leads, marketplaces, and partnerships.
- Optimize conversion funnels for online translation and language services.
- Collaborate with marketing to drive demand through campaigns, pricing bundles, and promotions.
- Team Leadership & Sales Operations
- Build, manage, and coach a high-performing B2B and B2C sales team.
- Establish sales processes, CRM discipline, and performance dashboards.
- Define commission structures, incentives, and performance KPIs.
- Market Intelligence & Product Alignment
- Monitor industry trends in localization, competitor pricing, AI/MT adoption, and client needs.
- Work closely with production, vendor management, and technology teams to ensure service scalability and quality.
- Provide market feedback to improve service offerings and client solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5-7 years of sales experience, with senior leadership exposure in localization, translation, language services, SaaS, or content services.
- Proven success managing both B2B enterprise sales and high-volume B2C sales.
- Strong experience with global markets and cross-cultural selling.
