About the Role: We are looking for a reliable, organized, and people-oriented HR & Admin Officer to support the day-to-day HR and administrative needs of our growing company. The role covers recruitment, employee records, attendance and payroll support, employee performance, workplace policies, and general HR administration.
We are looking for someone who is trustworthy, fair, approachable, and professional, someone employees can communicate with comfortably while maintaining confidentiality, impartiality, and proper company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle recruitment, screening, interviews, hiring, onboarding, and employee offboarding.
- Maintain complete and updated employee 201 files, employment contracts, and HR records.
- Monitor attendance, tardiness, absences, leaves, overtime, and employee schedules.
- Assist the Accounting Officer with payroll preparation and checking.
- Coordinate with supervisors in monitoring employee performance and workplace concerns.
- Help ensure employees follow the Employee Handbook, company policies, SOPs, uniform and grooming standards, hygiene requirements, and workplace rules.
- Conduct employee meetings and refresher orientations from time to time to discuss company rules, policies, SOPs, and important updates.
- Handle employee concerns professionally and assist Management with notices, memos, warnings, and disciplinary matters when necessary.
- Coordinate probationary and regular employee performance evaluations.
- Assist with SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other employee requirements.
- Prepare regular HR reports and keep Management informed of important employee matters.
- Assist with general HR and office administration, including monitoring office supplies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of HR experience preferred.
- Experience in recruitment, employee records, attendance/payroll preparation, and employee relations is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Philippine labor practices and government-mandated employee benefits.
- Organized, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Able to communicate professionally with employees, supervisors, and Management.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Able to handle confidential employee and company information properly.
- High level of integrity, honesty, fairness, and professionalism.
- Must remain impartial when dealing with employees and avoid favoritism, bias, or conflicts of interest.
- Able to build good working relationships with employees while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
