The Hotel Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, operational excellence, and financial performance of the hotel. This role ensures high standards of guest satisfaction, team engagement, brand compliance, and profitability while aligning with Destination Group’s values and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Guest Experience
- Oversee daily hotel operations across all departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, Security).
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences and promptly resolve guest feedback and service recovery.
- Maintain brand standards, SOPs, health & safety, and legal compliance at all times.
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, coach, and inspire department heads and hotel teams to achieve performance goals.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture aligned with Destination Group values.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
Financial & Commercial Performance
- Manage budgets, forecasts, P&L performance, and cost controls.
- Drive revenue growth in collaboration with Sales & Marketing, Revenue, and F&B teams.
- Analyze financial and operational KPIs and implement improvement strategies.
Sales, Marketing & Brand Positioning
- Support sales initiatives, local partnerships, and community engagement.
- Ensure strong online reputation management and guest review performance.
- Represent the hotel in owner, corporate, and stakeholder communications.
Asset & Risk Management
- Ensure proper maintenance of the hotel asset and capital planning.
- Enforce risk management, safety, and security standards.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5–8 years of progressive hotel management experience, with at least 2 years as Hotel Manager or Assistant General Manager.
- Strong operational background in full-service hotels or lifestyle hospitality brands.
- Proven financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to relocate within Thailand if required.
