Credit Investigator  

Job Summary

• You will be the company’s field investigator for loan applicants and real estate collateral. Your job is to verify the real story behind each client, inspect the property being offered as collateral, and prepare clear reports to help management decide whether to approve a loan.

Responsibilities

• Conduct background and credit investigations on loan applicants.
• Visit clients, residences, businesses, and collateral properties.
• Inspect and estimate the value and marketability of real estate collateral.
• Check property condition, location, access, neighborhood, occupancy, and possible red flags.
• Interview neighbors, barangay officials, or other sources when needed.
• Obtain certified documents from government offices such as Registry of Deeds, Assessor’s Office, and Treasurer’s Office.
• Prepare clear written reports with findings, photos, and recommendations.
• Report directly to the Loan Officers and participate in credit approval discussions when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / College Degree.
• At least 5 years of work experience.
• Comfortable with field work.
• Familiar with Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
• Honest, objective, diligent, and observant.
• Street smart and able to verify information on the ground.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Can write clear reports in English.
• Independent, self-starting, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Preferred Background

• Experience in credit investigation, property appraisal, banking, lending, real estate, field work, or government document processing is an advantage.
