IT Specialist  

SAP Development & Customization

Develop and enhance SAP applications using languages like ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming).
Customize SAP modules (e.g., Inventory Management, Logistics) based on business needs.


System Analysis & Requirements Gathering

Work with users and business teams to understand requirements.
Translate business processes into SAP system solutions.


Integration & Interface Development

Integrate SAP with other systems (e.g., third-party apps, databases, APIs).
Ensure smooth data flow between SAP and non-SAP systems.


Testing & Debugging

Perform unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Identify and fix bugs or system issues in SAP programs.


SAP Support & Troubleshooting

Provide technical support to users encountering SAP issues.
Analyze and resolve errors in reports, transactions, or interfaces.


Data Management & Reporting

Develop SAP reports, forms, and data extraction programs.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of business data.


Documentation

Prepare technical specifications, user manuals, and process documentation.
Maintain records of system changes and enhancements.


Performance Optimization

Improve system performance by optimizing ABAP code and database queries.
Monitor system efficiency and recommend improvements.


Security & Compliance

Ensure SAP programs follow security standards and access controls.
Support audit and compliance requirements.


Continuous Improvement &Upgrades

Assist in SAP system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
Stay updated with new SAP technologies .

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, and cybersecurity principles.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques, system maintenance, and IT support processes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, databases, and virtualization technologies is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience

• At least 2–5 years of relevant experience in IT support, systems administration, network administration, or technical support roles.
• Experience in:
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and networks.
  • Managing user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Supporting office productivity tools such as:
    • Microsoft 365
    • Google Workspace
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Ability to provide technical support to end users both onsite and remotely.
• Experience documenting IT procedures, inventory, and technical reports.
• Experience in SAP and creation of Crystal Reports.
• Exposure to enterprise systems, servers, firewalls, and cloud services is preferred.
