The role will be ever evolving with day to day duties including:
- Writing SQL queries to extract data from various sources
- Analyze data using SQL to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Use SQL to mine data for insights and patterns
- Develop predictive models to support business decision-making
- Create reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Develop data models to support business requirementsx`x`
- Optimize data models for performance and scalability
- Collating and Analysing statistical information
- Create visualizations to communicate data insights to stakeholders
- Develop dashboards to monitor key performance indicators
- Extracting data/content from multiple databases
- Manipulating data/producing reports and dashboards to help team members make better informed decisions
- Defining and analysing trends to aid key strategic decisions
- Providing ad hoc analysis for research projects directly to clients
- Supporting Economists, Researchers and any other areas of the business who may require data
- Providing support to Heads of Departments and Directors
Minimum Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Demonstrable high level of competency in SQL querying
- Experience in using business intelligence tools such as Power BI
- High level of competency with Excel spreadsheets
- Experience working with reporting software, building dashboards with tools and presenting data
- A willingness to progress with their career development
- A willingness to work in night shift (4 pm- 1 am)
The ideal candidate will be:
- Detail oriented but can also relate data to a wider context
- Sharp and self-starting. You make things happen, even when data isn’t perfect.
- A natural and clear communicator.
- Good co-ordinator – able to manage multiple relationships and bring projects to successful conclusion
- Willing to learn and adapt, this role will be ever evolving and will present the successful candidate with opportunity to grow with the role.
