About this Position

This role focuses on building and customizing backend solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 to support critical ERP workflows and business operations. You will develop and extend system capabilities using C#/.NET, manage integrations with third-party applications, and ensure data reliability and performance across the platform. Working closely with business and product teams, you will translate operational needs into scalable technical solutions. You are also expected to leverage modern tools, including AI-powered capabilities, to improve efficiency and enhance system functionality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), including modules such as Customer Engagement or Finance & Operations (ERP/SCM).
• Build and extend backend functionalities using C# and .NET, including plugins, workflows, and custom business logic.
• Customize and enhance client-side behavior using JavaScript for forms and user interactions.
• Develop and implement solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate) to improve business processes and automation.
• Design and manage integrations between D365 and third-party systems, leveraging REST APIs and OData.
• Collaborate with Product and Business teams to translate ERP and operational needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Manage and optimize SQL Server databases, including performance tuning and reporting support.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployments using Azure DevOps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the ERP ecosystem to ensure system stability and performance.
• Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, from requirement gathering to post-deployment support.
• Explore and leverage AI-powered tools and capabilities (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, AI Builder, or other AI-assisted development tools) to improve engineering productivity, automate business workflows, and enhance system capabilities within the D365 ecosystem.

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with strong focus on C#/.NET backend development.
• Proven hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), either in Customer Engagement or Finance & Operations (ERP/SCM).
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET, particularly for building custom plugins, extensions, and backend logic within enterprise systems.
• Experience with JavaScript for client-side customization in D365 (forms, UI behaviors, workflows).
• Hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) for business process automation.
• Solid understanding of SQL Server, including T-SQL, database design, and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating systems using REST API, OData, or similar technologies, especially in enterprise or ERP environments.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for deployment and release management.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and business workflows, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Demonstrates strong ownership, problem-solving ability, and the ability to work independently in a freelance or project-based environment.
