Data Analyst Intern  

AICines is four products in one: a streaming platform, an AI-powered social creation app, an AI creative studio where anyone can generate finished video from a prompt, and a film production house working with Hollywood studios on original content.

As a Data Analyst Intern, you'll work directly with product, growth, and content data from a live platform with real users. This is not sandboxed work — your analysis will inform decisions the team actually acts on.

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain dashboards tracking user behaviour, retention, and engagement
- Write SQL queries against production data to answer product and growth questions
- Analyse acquisition channels, creator activity, and content performance
- Turn raw findings into clear, actionable recommendations for the team
- Support A/B tests and experiments from design through to readout
- Contribute to data quality and reporting standards as the platform scales

- Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis
- Familiarity with Python or R for data work (preferred, not mandatory)
- Strong proficiency in spreadsheets, including pivot tables and data visualisation
- Ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, asynchronous team
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a quantitative degree programme (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, or similar)
- No prior professional experience required
