Retail Billing and Collections Supervisor  

The Billing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the accurate and timely billing of electricity services across a range of bespoke contracts. This role involves supervising a team of billing specialists, collaborating closely with various departments to understand contract provisions, and ensuring that billing inputs are compliant and accurate.

The Supervisor also plays a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction through effective communication and meticulous attention to detail in billing processes.

The Billing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the accurate and timely billing of electricity services across a range of bespoke contracts. This role involves supervising a team of billing specialists, collaborating closely with various departments to understand contract provisions, and ensuring that billing inputs are compliant and accurate.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Supervise the electricity billing process for a variety of customized contracts, ensuring strict adherence to contract provisions.
• Collaborate closely with the manager, account management, and regulatory teams to gain a thorough understanding of contract terms and conditions.
• Work closely with the systems data team to convert contract provisions into comprehensive billing system templates, ensuring accurate and compliant data entry.

To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:

• Understands of power industry (generation, distribution, sales)
• Has the ability to understand contract provisions and translate these into accurate financial terms and obligations of customers for billing purposes.
• Has strong communication abilities (verbal and written)

What You Will Need:

• Education & Experience:
  • Professional: At least 2 years’ experience in billing and collection; experience in power industry, an advantage
  • Leadership: At least 1 year’s leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any 4-year business course
• Licence & Certificates:
  • CPA, highly preferred but not required
