Paralegal  

This position is responsible for providing cross-functional support to the various Legal and Compliance team pillars.

He/she shall provide technical and administrative paralegal support, such as generation and preparation of legal documentation, monitoring and updating of legal developments, processing of permits, licenses, and authorizations, assisting in research and investigations, liaising with government agencies, collating, generating and preparing reports, presentation materials and projects files, and assisting in such other legal-related matters and special projects as may be required from time to time. The position is also responsible for developing and implementing document control processes and maintenance of related databases, and ensuring proper records management is maintained.

As needed, the paralegal shall also assist in the performance of corporate secretarial, housekeeping, and board secretariat functions for assigned AboitizPower business units (BUs). He/she shall assist the corporate secretarial team in ensuring that the BUs’ corporate records are complete, updated, and accessible and that day-to-day corporate housekeeping matters are attended to within the service level agreements (SLAs). He/she also ensures that the BUs assigned to him/her, in general, are aligned with Aboitiz Group practices and policies in order to ensure minimal regulatory non-compliances.

• Bachelor’s Degree in any 4-year related course
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Knowledge of project archiving and filing
• Ability to interface with different groups in the company
