The Workforce Manager is responsible for providing support to the Talent Acquisition Team and Tech Clusters in forecasting and managing workforce requirements. Analyzes data and database tracking tools for managing resources based on technical skills and capabilities. Conducts research and benchmarking to identify emerging and future skills to ensure an agile and future-proof workforce plan.
- Implements effective workforce planning and management systems and processes based on approved strategy and action plans.
- Gathers and reviews information related to resources’ performance, skills, and capabilities to determine ways to improve operations through effective staffing decisions.
- Coordinates with Program Directors and/or Project Managers for the capacity planning of each cluster for project assignment to allocate people with the right skills at the right time.
- Analyzes business unit goals and identifies the current and future workforce demands.
- Monitors updating of the workforce database that includes but are not limited to resources’ availability, skills and competency proficiency levels, previous and current project assignments, and other relevant credentials.
- Analyzes workforce data (i.e. skills patterns, trends) to determine skills gaps and trigger upskilling needs and/or capability build plan.
- Ensures that minimum workforce productivity is met and a threshold of man hours is observed.
- Analyzes project and individual performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and operate more effectively and efficiently.
- Generates and analyzes reports based on current and future workforce demands and presents them to the Workforce Manager for action planning.
- Works with the Workforce Manager to determine appropriate skill levels and capacity needed to meet business unit goals based on comprehensive study of workforce data and project requirements.
- Other job-related activities that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education – At least graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Mathematics or Statistics, or any related course.
- Related Experience – At least 5 years experience in workforce planning and management with the client and/or leadership team.
- Knowledge: knowledgeable in the following
- Capacity planning, forecasting, real-time management, reporting, and scheduling
- Database applications such as MS Office (Excel, Google App, Powerpoint), or ability to learn technology very quickly
- Proficient in the use of workforce management tools
- Expertise in scheduling, planning & forecasting methodology
- Excellent organizational, project management, and presentation skills
- Skills :
- Must have the ability to work independently
- Must have the ability to analyze large amounts of data to identify trends and patterns
- Must have the ability to handle multiple, complex, ongoing tasks and projects
- Must have attention to detail with a strong desire to optimize procedures and processes
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to manage and keep highly confidential information and conversations
