Job Description:
Essential Skills & Prerequisites
- Must have at least 2 years development and project deployment experience.
- Must be adept in software development projects using cloud-based technologies like Amazon Web Services, Python frameworks like Django and FastAPI. Working experience with database technologies like SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Experience of the following is preferred: API development, TDD, Django, FastAPI, AWS Services
Software Development
- Maximize all potential application development technologies by researching, conceptualizing, and recommending implementation to the project team.
- Gather specifications/requirements of software projects by providing technical information on different technical designs/architecture as needed.
- Ensure that all contents of software projects are aligned with our Brand image and make sure that no confidential information will be divulged by double checking necessary reference and secure approval before uploading information.
Management and deployment of software projects
- Manage and maintain software projects to conform to Shakey's standards by using cost effective technologies.
- Closely monitor software development projects and ensure that collaboration between in-house and/or outsourced developers are seamless.
- Ensure that deployed software projects are accessible by regularly monitoring and ensuring that communication lines are open to users and stakeholders in events of technical issues or downtimes.
- Perform routine scheduled maintenance and updates of existing software by collaborating with stakeholders and users in identifying contents and updates
Standards & Adhoc
- Develop new and enhance work processes to provide corrective actions to recurring issues including internal and external guest complaints, as well as preventive actions to avoid potential problems from occurring.
- Performs other tasks that may be assigned either individually or as part of a committee.
Minimum Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- 2 years+ of development using Python. Framework: Django/FastAPI.
- At least 1 year of development focus in API.
- Knowledgeable in DB design and optimization. DB: Postgresql
Nice to have:
- Docker setup knowledge.
- Familiarity to different AWS Services.
- Third Party API integration experience.
