As a Finance Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our internal finance team by providing accurate, timely financial reports to the business.
This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment. You will be expected to engage in regular, independent communication with management, finance peers, and other departments.
To succeed in this role, you must be proactive, client-focused, and capable of building and maintaining strong, effective working relationships within the team.
Responsibilities:
● Update bank statements in the accounting system.
● Manage cash flow by monitoring daily transactions and forecasting future cash needs.
● Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with risk management policies.
● Assist in the development of financial forecasts.
● Prepare reports for stakeholders and management.
● Ensure timely settlement of invoices and other payables.
● Send payment advice to suppliers.
● Monitor and update bank balances, expenses, and funding forecasts.
● Perform bank reconciliations.
● Bureau of Internal Revenue Compliances/tax filing.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking and Finance, or Accountancy.
- Expertise in various banking processes and procedures.
- Knowledge in Bureau of Internal Revenue compliance and tax filing (eg. SLSP, 1601-C, and other forms
- Above-average communication skills in both written and spoken English and Filipino.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Preferably with experience in both in-branch and online banking transactions.
- High level of confidentiality and integrity.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Willing to work in a hybrid setup (onsite on Mondays and Tuesdays; schedule may change over time).
- Minimum of 2 years experience in related fields
