- Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch, adhering to best practices and design standards.
- Utilize Custom Post Types and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) plugins to enhance the functionality and flexibility of WordPress websites.
- Customize WooCommerce templates to meet specific project requirements.
- Collaborate with designers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress development.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development and implement them effectively.
- Maintain existing WordPress websites ensuring all functions are working and security measures are up to date.
- Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
- Experience in Shopify and other web platforms is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, JavaScript/jQuery,CSS and Bootstrap etc.
- Solid understanding of WordPress core functionality and architecture.
- Experience in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Familiarity with Custom Post Types and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) plugins.
- Knowledge of WooCommerce and ability to customize templates as needed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
- Creating website layout/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Integrating data from various back-end services and databases
- Proven working experience in web programming
- Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
- A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
- Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
- Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
- Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
- Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.

- BS in computer science or a related field
