Job Description
- Process dispute documents for chargebacks received Research, build a case, and filing with the credit card company/banks
- Analyze trends and suggest improvement in processes Respond in a timely and professional manner to all requests for information, regarding disputes and chargebacks.
- Contest chargeback claims wherever possible and economically viable, and ensure claims for recoveries are actively pursued.
- Works closely with Anti-Fraud Manager to minimize fraud loss and chargeback rates through the prevention, detection, and investigation of fraudulent or suspected transactions and accounts.
- Investigate suspicious alerts received from any fraud monitoring applications, the Customer Service Team, Treasury Operations Team, and other sources, and ensure all related records/documentation are maintained.
- Quickly process new chargeback disputes using various tools, both internal and 3rd party, to identify and process chargebacks in accordance with card scheme guidelines
- Check for new disputes daily in assigned portals or spreadsheets
- Track and analyze trends and provide information to supervisors to maximize fraud prevention effectiveness
- Offer great customer service to all customers by responding promptly through the ticket system following internal SLA
- Maintain a high processing speed to effectively work the case queues and ticket queues associated with assigned portals
- Be proactive while working with accounts to recognize trends
- Correctly communicate with customer experience team about the dispute received and how they need to proceed with the dispute
- Complete miscellaneous tasks such as documenting disputes in work completed spreadsheets
- Retrieve copies of claim and documents from systems and files for necessary research.
- Review retrieved documents to determine validity and course of action to be taken.
