- Develop proficiency in cloud technologies, tools, and solutions, especially within the assigned solution, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Implement the infrastructure components required for cloud solutions including the setup of virtual machines, networking, storage, databases, and other resources.
- Deploy resources and services onto the cloud infrastructure and configure them according to requirements. This involves managing scalability, availability, and security aspects.
- Utilize deployment automation tools, automation platforms, and Infrastructure as Code frameworks like Terraform to automate deployment and management processes in a cloud environment.
- Ensure proper network setup and connectivity between resources in the cloud and apply the necessary security considerations for each component.
- Enable seamless integration with various tools and cloud services, fostering interoperability with platforms like data visualization tools, mapping services, and others.
- Set up monitoring solutions, configure alerts, and fine-tune performance for the optimal operation of resources.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, virtualization, storage, networking, and security.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
- Experience with deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Associate Engineer) are a plus.
