Merchandising Supervisor  

The Merchandising Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the target sales are reached for their assigned category/brand. She is expected to do this by executing all approved merchandising efforts such as inventory monitoring, purchase order processing, and stock movement processing

A Merchandising Supervisor is responsible for:

• Achieving brand sales target and profitability
• Providing sufficient and right merchandise mix for each store
• Monitoring merchandise movements and depletion of aging & damaged items
• Maintaining and identifying good and potential suppliers
• Analyzing and recommending trends based on market research and competition
• Developing products and acquisition
• Accomplishing reports on top-selling & non-moving items, inventory count, aging merchandise, merchandise sales status, merchandise mix ratio, saleable color, and style & price point analysis
• Supporting the merchandising team in executing merchandise processes – selection, visual display, stock allocation, distribution, inventory, sales & inventory analysis
• Distributing merchandise transfer orders in a properly and orderly manner to the stores

• Graduate of any Four-Year course, preferably Business Administration, Management, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Entrepreneurship, or any related course
• Minimum of 2-3years experience in retail merchandising
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Good knowledge in retail operations and business trends
