Job Description

Job Objectives

  • Assists the Corporate Human Resources Manager and the Warehouse Managers in the performance of Human Resources functions to include recruitment and selection, training, Government-mandated benefits administration, and employee relations
  • Provides supervisory assistance in the warehouse operations of the assigned location

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Attends and support warehouse during Splinter Meeting - where we have the chance to give commendation to employees who performed remarkably and give reminders on our policies and procedures, Motivational talk
  • Roving around the warehouse to check the grooming of all employees; this includes inspection of IDs/Uniforms/Make-up. In observance of proper office decorum and grooming (this may come as a surprise inspection) twice a day
  • Communicate with Department Heads for their HR-related concerns. Encourages Department Heads to visit HR to give ample time with their respective concerns
  • Check Bulletin Board if there are any changes that should be made for employees' information such as schedules, memos, etc.
  • Reviews plantilla to ensure correctness and completion
  • Check probable employees that can be trained as Supervisor; prepares needed documents for OJTP enrolment
  • Monitor PSRs and CRFs
  • Check email if there are clarifications/instructions from HR Central/Department Heads
  • Accommodate any concerns with which HR can be of service
  • Facilitate Company Orientation program
  • Ensures that employees' 201 files, corrective consultation, and attendance record are accurately filed and updated
  • Prepare and receives transmittal for and from HR Central's documents such as PAFs/201 Files/Loan Applications/Reports
  • Responsible for the sourcing, screening, and placement of manpower and takes an active role in manpower planning for the location for optimum productivity
  • Ensures the strict compliance of all employees to the policies and procedures of S&R
  • Implements the Company's benefits package including proper monitoring of availments and assists the HR Manager in the negotiations with providers
  • Takes on an active role in the planning and administration of wage-related matters
  • Prepares and update HR reports required by the Corporate HR Manager
  • Handles processing and documentation of separated employees
  • Ensures that all employees have the mandated government permits (DOLE, Occupational & Health Permits)
  • Responsible for handling labor-related issues and assures uniform application of corrective consultation and "due process" procedures
  • Prepares monthly pep-talk topics and develops employee activities that foster camaraderie and a healthy working relationship in the organization and at the same time evaluate the effectiveness/impact on the productivity of employee program activities
  • Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time
  • Work closely with HR team on all its functions and responsibilities, by maintaining open communication with the whole HR group

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a degree holder of Human Resources and/or Psychology
  • Must have at least 2-3 years of work experience as a Supervisor in a Retail industry
  • Must be amenable to work in Davao City
